DESCRIPTION:“Tie One On” Dorcheat Museum Fundraiser Gala 2022\nCome “Tie One On” with us on Monday September 12\, 2022 at Dorcheat Museum located at 116 Pearl Street in Minden\, LA. Save the DATE! \nThe Dorcheat Museum will be celebrating 15 years of preserving our history of Webster Parish. Yes we are back after a long break of gathering together! After two years of dealing with Covid shutdowns the museum will finally be able to have a gathering of supporters again. \nThis year’s gala will be a little different than the ones we have had in the past. We just wanted to have a simple fun evening together again! We will have a live auction conducted by our own “Dr. FEELGOOD” Richard Campbell. Donated cakes will be on the auction block all night long. So come for some fun and bring your sweet tooth and pocket book. \nThe event will be centered on our “TIE ONE ON” apron exhibit that runs from April – October 1st. Aprons tie us to the past in more ways than one. The memories of meals shared and recipes handed down through time is what cooking and family is all about. Many times a simple recipe takes us down memory lane or the smell of a pound cake cooking in the oven. Let us share those memories with others and the proud heritage of GOOD COOKS! \nCost is $25 per person with response cards and checks to be mailed by September 1st\, 2022 or dropped off at museum by Friday September 9\, 2022. You can also pay $30 at the door. PLEASE BRING A CAKE\, IF YOU CAN! To donate baked items and cakes call 318-377-3002 \nDress will be casual and fun!
