DESCRIPTION:Grilling on Main is a high-energy\, non-sanctioned BBQ competition where pitmasters go head-to-head cooking brisket\, ribs\, and chicken\, with meats provided to competitor\, while also creating a signature dish for the People’s Choice category. Teams will fire up their smokers on-site and compete for cash prizes\, awards\, and the coveted Grand Champion belt.\n\nDate: Friday\, June 12- Saturday June 13th (competition weekend)\n\nPublic Samples for People’s Choice will take place on Saturday\, June 13th from 11am-1pm. Get a chance to sample all of the cook team’s dishes for just $10.\n\nCompetition Categories & Payouts-\n\nGrand Champion$4\,000 Prize & Championship Belt\n\nChicken1st Place – $500 & Award2nd Place – $2503rd Place – $125\n\nRibs1st Place – $500 & Award2nd Place – $2503rd Place – $125\n\nBrisket1st Place – $5002nd Place – $2503rd Place – $125\n\nPeople’s Choice1st Place – $1\,0002nd Place – $5003rd Place – $250\n\n-This is a non-sanctioned BBQ competition.-Teams may begin setup at 7:00 AM on Friday\, June 12th.-Competition spaces are first come\, first served and assigned upon arrival by event staff.-Water and limited electricity will be available on-site.-RV electric hookups are not available.-A mandatory competitor meeting will take place on Friday\, June 12 at 5:30 PM.
