America’s 250th & Minden’s 190th Celebration

Minden’s 190th Anniversary and America’s 250th Birthday Celebration event is bringing three full days of celebration, entertainment, food, and community fun to Downtown Minden June 11–13 as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary and Minden’s 190th Birthday.

Throughout the weekend, downtown will be filled with events including Bites & Beats, the Run Minden on Main 5K, Grilling on Main, the Greater Minden Chamber Duck Derby, Little Grillers, live music, cornhole, kids attractions, food competitions, patriotic festivities, and a fireworks finale to close out the weekend.

From family activities and hometown traditions to competition BBQ and community celebrations, there will be something happening all across downtown for all ages to enjoy.

This is shaping up to be one of the biggest weekends of the summer in Minden, and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone June 11–13.
