Minden’s 190th Anniversary & America’s 250th Birthday Celebration

The City of Minden, alongside Minden Main Street, Discover Webster Parish, and the Greater Minden Chamber, is hosting a three-day celebration kicking off June 11th with “Bites & Beats” and continuing through June 12–13th in downtown Minden. The event honors America’s 250th Anniversary and Minden’s 190th birthday and is set to be the biggest festival of the summer.
The celebration will feature a full lineup of family-friendly activities, including parades, a 5K, tournaments, food competitions, kids’ attractions, live entertainment, and a fireworks finale—bringing the community together and drawing visitors from across the region.
Each element throughout the three full days of patriotic fun, hometown pride, and community celebration will be fun for the entire family.
