FIFTH ANNUAL UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING MINDEN

WHO:           United Way of Northwest Louisiana, Gibsland Bank & Trust, Minden Medical Center, Webster Parish School Board, Business First Bank, American Legion Post #74, Christian Church at Minden Simply Serve, Community First, Cultural Crossroads, Project Reclaim, VEIL, Webster Parish Council on Aging.

WHAT:          United Way’s 2019 Day of Caring Minden includes multiple volunteer opportunities throughout Webster Parish – offering the community a chance to personally help a nonprofit by completing a project.

WHEN:          Saturday, May 4, 2019

WHERE:        Kickoff breakfast: United Way W.B.C. Center (202 Miller St. Minden, LA)

8:30 am – 9:15 am

Volunteer projects will be held Minden-wide from 9:30 am – 12 pm.

WHY:           United Way of Northwest Louisiana, along with local businesses and nonprofits will join together to host the Fifth Annual Day of Caring Minden. This one-day, community-wide volunteer event offers an opportunity to see what our local nonprofit organizations do daily. It connects local businesses with nonprofit agencies in need of assistance. This event is dedicated to encouraging year-round volunteerism throughout the community.
